The 1615943600HWS / 2911011701HWS oil–gas separation elements feature anti-corrosion microfiber coalescing media. They remove 100% of solid particles >3μm and coalesce 0.01–1μm oil aerosols into droplets, with automatic siphon return to the lubrication system. 1. Product Overview


The 1615943600HWS and 2911011701HWS are high-performance oil–gas separation filter 

elements designed for air compressor systems. Engineered with advanced anti-corrosion 

microfiber coalescing media, these elements effectively remove both solid particulates and

 oil aerosols from compressed air, delivering exceptionally pure, oil-free output to protect

 downstream equipment and processes.




2. Filtration Principle & Working Mechanism


Compressed air discharged from the compressor carries oil in two forms:


· Large oil droplets – easily separated by gravity and impingement within the separator.

· Fine oil aerosols (suspended oil particles) – require high-efficiency filtration through the

 micron-grade glass fiber layer.


Our filter elements utilize state-of-the-art microfiber coalescing material, which performs

 dual functions:


1. Solid particle filtration – completely removes all solid particles larger than 3μm from the

 compressed air stream.

2. Oil aerosol coalescing – captures ultrafine oil/water aerosols as small as 0.01–1μm, which 

dissolve and pass through the media. These micro-droplets are coalesced into larger oil droplets, 

which accumulate at the bottom of the filter element.


The collected oil is then siphoned back to the compressor's lubrication system through a return

 line connected to the concave bottom of the filter element. This continuous recycling process 

ensures:


· Minimal oil carryover in the discharged air

· Extended lubricant life

· Clean, oil-free compressed air for sensitive applications
