Working Principle


The Vertical Coalescer Separator operates on a well-proven two-stage separation principle that ensures efficient contaminant

 removal:


Contaminated fuel enters the pressure vessel from the inlet and flows through the coalescing separation filter elements.

 Within these elements, solid particles are mechanically trapped within the filter media, while micro-emulsified water 

droplets are captured and coalesced into larger droplets through the action of specialized coalescing media. As these 

enlarged water droplets emerge from the filter element, they are carried by the fluid flow into the settling zone.


Due to the density difference between water and fuel, the coalesced water droplets sink to the water collection area at 

the bottom of the vessel under gravity. The purified, dehydrated fuel continues upward and exits through the upper outlet,

 while the separated water accumulates in the collection chamber for periodic discharge through the drain valve. 

This two-stage separation architecture prevents secondary emulsification and maintains stable dehydration efficiency
