Vertical coalescer separator integrates filtration and dehydration. Removes free water, emulsified water, and particles from diesel. Pressure vessel construction. Ideal for power stations, oil depots, and fuel transfer stations.
Product Overview
The Vertical Coalescer Separator is a pressure vessel-type fuel purification device specifically developed for liquid-liquid separation applications. Utilizing advanced coalescing and separation technology, it effectively treats contaminated diesel, light fuel oil, and similar media. Contaminated fuel passes through internal filter elements, where solid particles are intercepted, emulsions are broken, and water droplets are coalesced. Tiny suspended water droplets merge into larger droplets and settle for centralized discharge, continuously improving fuel cleanliness before delivery or entry into generator equipment.
As a manufacturer—not a reseller—we offer complete import substitution solutions with supporting coalescing separation filter elements, helping customers significantly reduce long-term procurement costs.
Key Features & Benefits
· Integrated Filtration & Dehydration – Combines particle removal and water separation in a single unit,
eliminating free water and emulsified water in one circulation pass.
· Industrial-Grade Pressure Vessel – Manufactured in strict accordance with industrial pressure vessel standards,
ensuring stable structure, reliable sealing, and long-term continuous operation.
· Quick-Opening Manhole – The top quick-opening design simplifies daily inspection and internal filter element
replacement. Operators can complete routine maintenance without complex disassembly.
· Smart Monitoring Ready – Reserved interfaces for differential pressure sensors and water level detectors
support real-time monitoring of equipment status.
· Flexible Flow Rates – Available in multiple flow specifications to match applications ranging from
small circulating pipelines to large tank circulation systems.
Working Principle
Contaminated fuel enters the vessel and first passes through the coalescing separation filter elements.
Solid particles are trapped within the filter media, while micro-emulsified water droplets are captured
and merged into larger drops as they flow through. These larger water droplets sink to the water collection
area at the bottom of the vessel under gravity. Purified fuel exits through the upper outlet,
while separated water can be discharged periodically. The two-stage separation structure effectively prevents
secondary emulsification and maintains stable dehydration efficiency under continuous flow.
Application Scope
This vertical coalescer separator is widely used in:
· Thermal power stations – Diesel storage tank fuel circulation purification
· Commercial oil depots & inland fuel transfer stations – Continuous fuel quality maintenance
· Industrial parks & backup power bases – Fuel pretreatment pipelines
· Construction machinery & small wharf fuel supply systems – Temporary fuel purification projects

FAQ
Q1: Can this equipment remove dissolved water from diesel?
A1: The equipment efficiently separates free water and emulsified water droplets. However,
molecular dissolved water (mixed at the molecular level) cannot be removed by coalescing separation technology.
Q2: Can the equipment be connected to existing fuel circulation pipelines?
A2: Yes. We support customized interface sizes and flange standards to match most existing pipeline systems.
Q3: Do you supply supporting filter elements?
A3: Yes. We produce matched coalescing separation filter elements as original consumables, offering stable
import substitution solutions. Share your operating parameters with us, and we can provide long-term bulk
supply quotations.
