HYDAC RFD Series Duplex Return Line Filter

Product Overview

The HYDAC RFD series are duplex change-over return line filters, for tank or in-line mounting. Designed for fine filtration in hydraulic return lines, they allow element replacement without system shutdown to ensure continuous operation, ideal for medium-pressure, high-flow applications.

Duplex change-over: Ball valve with single-lever operation for uninterrupted filtration; elements can be replaced online.

High flow coverage: Sizes 60–1300, flow 60–1300L/min to suit various system capacities.

High-precision filtration: Optional 1/3/5/10/20μm elements (β≥1000) for effective contamination control.

Safety protection: Built-in 3bar bypass valve; standard differential pressure clogging indicator for alarm protection.

Technical Conditions

Working pressure: Rated 25bar (360psi), burst pressure 75–100bar.

Housing material: Aluminum alloy for RFD60–330; ductile iron for RFD660–1300.

Port connections: G¾”–SAE DN100; NPT/SAE straight thread/flange options.

Temperature & seals: -10℃ to +100℃; NBR/FKM/EPDM seals, compatible with mineral oils and fire-resistant fluids.

Scope of Application

Widely used in petrochemical, power, metallurgy, construction machinery, wind energy. Suitable for return line filtration in hydraulic stations, lubrication systems, gearboxes and steam turbines, protecting pumps, valves and actuators from particle wear.
