Liquid-liquid coalescer is also known as oil-water filter separator and jet fuel filter separator. The coalescer is composed of a metal shell with internal filter coalesce filter element, separation filter element, and equipped with blowdown valve, drain valve, differential pressure gauge, safety valve, level gauge and other accessories. Liquid-liquid aggregator set filtration and dehydration in one, not only can filter all kinds of small particles in the media, but also can filter the water, fiber and suspended matter in the media, is an ideal oil purification equipment.
First, the working principle
The coalescing device is equipped with two filter elements with different functions -- the coalescing filter element and the separating filter element. The medium to be dehydrated enters the shell from the inlet of the filter separator. When the liquid passes through the filter element containing the coalescing medium, the liquid flows from the inside of the coalescing filter element to the outside. Through the four processes of filtration, demulsification, coalescing and settling, the emulsified liquid is demulsified, and then the small water beads after demulsification are gathered into large water beads and settled to the bottom of the shell.
Part of the small water in time to settle with the flow of liquid separation filter element, separation filter element has good hydrophobic performance, small water beads are intercepted outside the filter element, again formed large water settlement, so as to ensure the removal of water. The water settling to the bottom of the shell is shown by the level gauge, and the water and dirt can be discharged through the drainage valve regularly and irregularly. The oil flows from the outside to the inside of the filter element, and the medium separating the water is collected by the separator tray and discharged from the outlet of the separator. Water and oil are discharged through different outlets.

1) Aviation fuel, gasoline, kerosene, diesel;
2) Liquefied petroleum gas, petroleum coke, naphtha;
3) Benzene, toluene, xylene, isopropylbenzene;
4) Polypropylbenzene, cyclohexane, isopropyl alcohol, cyclohexanol, cyclohexanone.

Filtration and dehydration of gasoline, kerosene, diesel and jet fuel
1) Clean up lye after alkali treatment;
2) Filtration and dehydration of intermediates in catalytic and cracking processes;
3) Separation of water and amine in liquefied petroleum gas.
