What are the factors affecting the performance of cyclone dust collector?
Cyclone dust collector consists of intake pipe, deflector, baffle (or shield) and other components. When the fan runs normally, the air enters the box through the air inlet. Due to the inertia and diffusion of the airflow, some large particles of dust in the airflow are separated by inertia force and fall directly into the ash bucket. Another part of small particles of dust enter the upper cleaning room or settling room of the filter bag room with the air flow upward, meet with the thicker dust particles, concentrate on the outer surface of the filter bag (called the filter layer), and discharge the clean gas through the filter bag through the box to the outlet. So, in the process of use, what are the factors that affect the cyclone dust collector?
1. The influence of geometric size
The main influencing factors are the diameter, gas inlet and shape and size of exhaust pipe of cyclone dust collector.
2. The influence of gas flow
The inlet gas velocity (proportional to the flow rate) has great influence on the pressure loss and dust removal efficiency of the dust collector. Theoretically, the pressure loss of a cyclone is proportional to the square of the gas flow rate.
3. The influence of dust concentration of gas
The dust concentration of gas has influence on the dust removal efficiency and pressure loss of cyclone dust collector. The test results show that the pressure loss decreases with the increase of dust load. As the concentration of dust in gas increases, the agglutination and agglomeration performance of dust increases, so the dust removal efficiency is significantly improved, and the concentration of dust in export gas also increases.
4. The influence of moisture content of gas
The moisture content of gas has great influence on the working condition of cyclone dust collector. If the amount of fine particles is unchanged and the moisture content increases, then the particles bond to each other into larger particles in the cyclone dust collector, which are violently impacted on the wall, and the gas purification efficiency will be improved.
5.The impact of dust physical properties
The larger the particle size of dust, the greater the centrifugal force, conducive to separation, high dust removal efficiency. The higher the dust density, the higher the dust removal efficiency.
