Affected by environmental protection policies and the enhancement of corporate environmental awareness, more and more companies have begun to pay attention to air dust removal equipment. As an important member of air dust removal equipment, filter cartridge dust collector also plays an important role in air dust removal. However, many customers do not know how to choose a filter cartridge dust collector suitable for working conditions. Then, what factors should be considered when choosing a filter cartridge dust collector?
1. The principle of selecting filter material
The filter cartridge of the filter cartridge dust collector is generally made of pulp, synthetic fiber or with pulp and synthetic fiber as the base material and surface coating. The raw materials have different physical and chemical properties, and the suitable operating conditions or working environments are also different. Therefore, the principle of selecting the filter material of the filter cartridge dust collector should be to fully understand the physical and chemical properties of the dust-containing gas, carefully compare the technical functions of various fibers, and select them correctly.
2. Dust adhesion and cohesion
Dust has the characteristics of adhering to each other or to the surface of other objects. When the suspended dust is in contact with each other, it will absorb each other and agglomerate together. The cohesive force of dust is related to various factors such as its variety, shape, particle size distribution, moisture content and appearance characteristics. Therefore, the adhesion and cohesion of dust should also be considered.
3. Dust shape and particle size distribution
Generally, the products of high-temperature incineration process are mostly regular-shaped dust, while most of the dust particles generated by the process are irregular-shaped. Regular-shaped dust has a smooth surface and a smaller surface area, so it is not easy to be blocked and agglomerated when passing through the filter material; on the contrary, irregular-shaped dust has different shapes, rough surface and larger specific surface area, which is easy to be blocked when passing through the filter material. Agglutination.
4. Corrosion of dusty gas
The chemical resistance of different fibers varies and is often affected by various factors such as temperature and humidity. In comparison, PTFE fibers are chemically resistant but more expensive. Therefore, when selecting the filter material, the appropriate filter material should be selected according to the chemical composition of the dust-containing gas and other factors.
5. The temperature of dusty gas
The temperature of the dust-laden gas discharged during the production process is also a factor for the correct selection of filter materials for the filter cartridge dust collector. The physical and chemical properties of dust-laden gases include temperature, humidity, corrosiveness, and flammability. According to the temperature of continuous use, the filter cartridges can be divided into normal temperature filter cartridges less than 65°C, medium temperature filter cartridges less than 90°C and high temperature filter cartridges greater than 90°C.
6. Humidity of dusty gas
The humidity of dust-laden gas is another important factor for the correct selection of filter cartridge dust collectors. The humidity of the dust-laden gas indicates the degree of moisture contained in the gas, which is generally expressed by the volume percentage of water vapor in the dust-laden gas or the relative humidity. When the volume percentage of water vapor is greater than 8%, or the relative humidity is less than 80%, it is called wet dusty gas. The appropriate filter cartridge dust collector should be selected according to the water absorption, deliquescence, and water content of the wet dust-containing gas.
7. Select the filter material according to the physical and chemical properties of the dusty gas
The filter cartridge dust collector adopts the pulse valve to blow the dust, and the dust filter filter absorbs and filters the dust and flue gas. The installation style of the dust filter cartridge can be used as vertical insertion type and oblique insertion type, and the size and quantity of the dust removal filter cartridge are different. Choose according to working conditions. When selecting a filter cartridge dust collector, the physical and chemical properties of flue gas and dust; factors such as flue gas flow rate, dust concentration and allowable dust emission concentration will affect the selection of dust collectors. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the selection of filters suitable for working conditions. In this way, it can play its due effect, bring corresponding economic benefits to the enterprise, and also protect the atmospheric environment.
