When the oil passes through the filter element, the water droplets are blocked on the outer surface of the filter element and coalesce with each other until it settles into the water storage tank due to the action of gravity.
4. Drainage system: the separated water is stored in the water storage tank. When the height of the interface reaches the set value, open the valve to discharge the water until it reaches the lower liquid level, close the valve and stop drainage.
Different liquids have different surface tension, and when the liquid flows through the hole, the smaller the surface tension is, the faster the rate of passing through. After the oil passes through the coalesce filter element, there are still small water droplets moving forward to the separation filter element under the action of inertia. The separator element is made of special hydrophobic material. When the oil passes through the separator element, the water is kept out of the separator element, while the oil passes through the separator element and is discharged from the outlet.
