 standard high-speed sand tank units. Aite Three-Tank Parallel Shallow 

Sand Filter is equipped with a water distributor and a water collector, 

and has a two-way automatic flush valve – enabling multiple standard 

high-speed sand tanks to be individually backwashed one by one during 

normal system operation with fully automatic program control. Aite

2. Product Principle


Aite Three-Tank Parallel Shallow Sand Filter operates on a proven filtration 

principle. When the system is in the filtering state, pressurized water flows 

into the water distribution system from the inlet of the filter tank and reaches

 the filter material layer evenly. When water flows through the filter material

 layer, suspended matter is retained by the filter material. A water collector 

with a slit at the bottom of the filter evenly collects the filtered clean water 

and flows it out of the filter.


At any time, impurities accumulate in the filter material layer, and pressure

 loss continues to increase. When the pressure difference increases to a certain

set value or reaches the set cleaning time, Aite Three-Tank Parallel Shallow

 Sand Filter automatically switches to the backwashing state. Pressurized 

water enters the filter material layer through the water collection device, 

flushes it, and makes trapped pollutants fall off and discharge from the filter 

system. After backwash has lasted for at least 2 minutes, the valve 

automatically switches the system back to filter state.
