Service Life of Coalescing and Separating Filter Elements
The coalescing filter is responsible for solid filtration and liquid coalescence, with a theoretical service life of 2000 to 4000 hours. The separating filter bears less pollution load, and its service life is 4000 to 8000 hours.
The service life is affected by medium pollution, viscosity, temperature, flow rate, pressure and pre-treatment conditions. High moisture, viscous substances and solid pollutants will cause irreversible blockage of the filter material.
Different operating conditions have different actual service life. Severe working conditions will greatly shorten the service time of the filter element.
The key replacement indicators are pressure difference exceeding the limit, reduced separation efficiency and damage of the filter structure.
Proper pre-treatment and standardized operation can effectively prolong the service life of the filter element.
