I. Standard Service Life
PP Melt-blown Filter Cartridge (Most commonly used)
Tap water / municipal water purification, RO pure water system: 1~3 months
Groundwater, well water and average water quality: 2~4 weeks
Surface water, river water and wastewater pretreatment: 7~15 days
Pleated Filter Cartridge / PES Pleated Cartridge
Pure water, pharmaceutical and water purification conditions: 3~6 months
Industrial water with average water quality: 1~2 months
String Wound Filter Cartridge
Industrial circulating water and water with slight oil contamination: 1~3 months
Stainless Steel Sintered Filter Cartridge
Reusable after repeated cleaning and regeneration; normal service life 1~3 years, only replaced when damaged.
II. Key Factors Affecting Service Life
Whether there is sand filtration and activated carbon filtration in the pretreatment; the better the pretreatment, the longer the cartridge service life.
Turbidity, sediment, colloid and algae content of raw water.
Whether the operating flow exceeds the standard or runs under full load for a long time.
Regular drainage and air venting during startup.
Long-term shutdown with stagnant water breeds biological sludge, which will quickly clog the filter cartridge.
III. No Need to Strictly Follow the Time — Replace Once Seeing These Two Signs
Replace immediately when the inlet and outlet differential pressure rises to 0.1 MPa;
Replace in advance if the water output drops significantly or the outlet water turns turbid.
