The shallow sand filter is composed of multiple standard high-speed sand tank units, which are equipped with a water distributor and a water collector, and have a two-way automatic flushing valve, which can realize the individual reaction of multiple standard high-speed sand tanks one by one during normal system operation. Flushing, fully automatic program control. It has the advantages of small backwash water consumption, convenient equipment installation and easy operation. So, what should be paid attention to in the operation of the shallow sand filter? Let's find out together below!
1. Preparation before starting the shallow sand filter
(1) The operator needs to hold an operation card and operate it by a special person. If the operator is not present, the squad leader will assign a person who is familiar with the equipment to operate;
(2) After the overhaul of the filter, check whether the connection and cooperation of each component are firm, and whether the tightness is appropriate;
(3) If there are obstacles around the filter, they should be cleaned up in time.
2. Operating sequence of shallow sand filter
(1) The filter starts to run. Close the filter inlet valve and filter outlet valve respectively. Open the filter bypass valve, and after the water flows through the bypass valve for 1-5 minutes, open the filter inlet and outlet valves, and then close the bypass valve. The operation and backwashing pressure of the filter are adjusted by the water outlet valve. The water outlet pressure should be kept above 0.28MPa during reverse cleaning to achieve a good cleaning effect.
(2) Anti-cleaning operation. When the filter runs for a period of time, the filter residue will block the gap, resulting in the formation of differential pressure in the inlet and outlet pipes of the filter. The value of the pressure difference can be observed from the inlet and outlet pressure gauges. When the pressure difference reaches the set 0.05Mpa, or when the set filtration time is 5h, automatic backwashing is performed. If the filter maintains a high differential pressure after cleaning, the water outlet valve should be closed to force a process of cleaning.
3. Shallow sand filter shutdown operation
(1) In some cases, in order to prevent the equipment from rotating for some reason, the power source should be turned off.
(2) It should be cleaned manually before shutdown to keep the filter layer clean, so that dirt can be scaled.
(3) After the shutdown, the inlet and outlet valves of the filter should be closed in time.
(4) When the filter fails and shuts down during operation, open the valve of the bypass pipeline to ensure the smoothness of the waterway.
The above are the precautions for the operation of the shallow sand filter introduced to you. Hope it can be helpful to you in your future use.
