Complete Selection Guide for HYDAC High-pressure Filters
Select HYDAC high-pressure filters accurately in five steps: system pressure, flow rate, filtration accuracy, structural type, and material configuration, fully applicable to DF, DFM, DFDK and other series, suitable for industrial high-pressure working conditions.
1. Confirm System Working Pressure
The rated pressure of the filter must be no less than the maximum instantaneous system pressure; overpressure operation is strictly prohibited.
Common pressure grades:
210 bar: Machine tools and light-duty hydraulic stations
315 bar: Construction machinery and general heavy-duty equipment
420 bar: Shield machines, mining equipment and servo systems
For working conditions with pressure impact, prioritize thickened high-pressure DFON series.
2. Match System Flow Rate
Select according to the peak flow rate with a margin of 1.2~1.5 times.
Insufficient flow will cause high pressure difference and rapid filter blockage.
Excessive flow leads to cost and space waste.
DFDK double-barrel type is recommended for non-stop continuous production.
3. Determine Filtration Accuracy
Servo valves & proportional valves: 1~5 μm glass fiber filter element
Ordinary solenoid valves & piston pumps: 10 μm standard accuracy
Gear pumps & general oil circuits: 25~50 μm coarse filtration
Add pre-filtering for harsh environments to extend service life.
