Horizontal multi-tank shallow sand filter filtration system is lightweight and requires no special foundation treatment. Small footprint, according to the actual situation can be flexibly arranged, easy to install.
When the system is in the filtering state, the pressurized water flows into the water distribution system from the filter tank inlet and uniformly reaches the filter material layer. When the water passes through the filter material layer, the suspended matter is intercepted by the filter material. Water flows through the bottom with a water collector, is evenly collected, and out of the filter. The gap on the water collector can prevent the loss of filter material.
When the system is in the automatic backwash state, the backwash cycle is controlled by increasing pressure differences and set times. With the continuous accumulation of impurities in the filter material layer, the pressure loss continues to increase. When the pressure difference increases to a certain set value (or reaches a certain set time value), the system automatically switches to the backwash state. Pressurized water (water collection device) enters the filter material layer, scour it, so that the intercepted pollutants fall off and discharge out of the filtration system. After the backwash lasts for at least 2 minutes, the valve automatically switches the system to the filtered state.
When the system running time or operating pressure difference reaches the set value, the system enters the backwash state, at this time the controller sends the backwash signal to the solenoid valve, the solenoid valve through the compressed air signal, the air into the pneumatic device, the connecting rod structure controls the four ball valves at the same time, the system enters the unwashed state, pressurized water through the ball valve S3 into the collection device. Ball valve S4 closed, pressurized water through the collector into the filter material layer, wash it, so that the intercepted pollutants fall off, through the valve S2(S1 closed), into the discharge pipe, backwash for 2 minutes, the valve automatically jump to the filter state.
