The pipeline filter is installed on the pressure pipeline of the hydraulic system to filter out the mechanical impurities mixed in the hydraulic oil and the colloid, bitumen, carbon residue, etc. produced by the chemical change of the hydraulic oil itself, so as to prevent the valve core from sticking. The occurrence of failures such as dead, throttling orifice gaps and damping holes, and excessive wear of hydraulic components. The filter has good filtering effect and high precision, but it is difficult to clean after clogging, and the filter element must be replaced.
When choosing a line filter, consider the following:
(1) The filtration precision should meet the predetermined requirements.
(2) Sufficient flow capacity can be maintained for a long time.
(3) The filter element has sufficient strength and is not damaged by the action of hydraulic pressure.
(4) The filter element has good corrosion resistance and can work for a long time at the specified temperature.
(5) The filter element is easy to clean or replace.
(1) To be installed at the suction port of the pump:
Generally, a surface oil filter is installed on the suction road of the pump to filter out large impurity particles to protect the hydraulic pump. In addition, the filtering capacity of the oil filter should be more than twice the flow rate of the pump, and the pressure loss should be less than 0.02MPa.
(2) Installed on the outlet oil road of the pump:
The purpose of installing the oil filter here is to filter out the contaminants that may invade the valve and other components. Its filtration precision should be 10~15μm, and it can withstand the working pressure and impact pressure on the oil circuit, and the pressure drop should be less than 0.35MPa.
(3) Installed on the oil return road of the system: This installation acts as an indirect filter. Generally, a back pressure valve is installed in parallel with the filter. When the filter is blocked and reaches the corresponding pressure value, the back pressure valve opens.
(4) Installed on the branch oil circuit of the system.
(5) Separate filtration system: A hydraulic pump and an oil filter can be specially set up for a large hydraulic system to form an independent filtration circuit.
In addition to the oil filter required for the entire system in the hydraulic system, a fine oil filter is often installed separately in front of some important components to ensure their normal operation.
